    Research and development is also necessary regarding privacy issues for teachers regarding ICT – ie student use of image technology e.g. Facebook regarding teachers as a result of photos taken during school time e.g. school trips.

      Web 2.0 is new to everyone. Those in management range between concerned and paranoid. Caution is important, but we should not miss out on opportunities.

    We are in the technology age and can not deny use of what is available to us, there may be some misuse but why punish the many, many good uses of technology?

    It’s all about purpose – how devices can achieve a purpose, rather than the devices themselves. The sheer multiplicity of resources – online, hardware, software etc can lead to a feeling of reinventing the wheel, as one changes from wiki to edmodo, or a class blog… .
